New Web Site is Launched
I am so excited about our new TCMM Web site, which was launched today! For several months, we've been waiting with much anticipation for this day to arrive.
I'm sure you will agree with me that the all new http://www.tcmm.org is fresh, fun and informative. The media center already has a number of files for your viewing pleasure, with many more being available very soon. When you launch the media player, our new 5-minute promotional DVD will start playing - "I Give You My Heart." This production will be shown in conferences, campmeetings and special services all over North America in the coming months.
You will notice that the site is prepared to receive online donations. You can sponsor a child, contribute to the current appeal, or give a general offering to the ministry.
More enhancements and features will be forthcoming in the near future, including a photo gallery that will be refreshed with new photos each month. Also in the works is the Mansion Radio Network featuring our special projects as well as those of our supporting Unto You artists. Inspirational messages and interviews will also be broadcast via the internet.
In a few days, we will be starting a monthly e-newsletter entitled, The Mansion Minute. Already, we have over 8,000 email addresses to send it to. You can sign up to receive this new on-line publication from the Home Page, or by clicking on the following link: http://visitor.constantcontact.com/optin.jsp?v=001GfcdKfB8aoutC3W3HUO4vk7GN3A_Y_G1
We’ve had a wonderful team working together on this project. Ben Sanders is our webmaster. His wife just happens to be our
daughter, Tamara. They were married last September and live in Dallas, Texas. Tamara serves as our Director of Promotions and has assisted Ben with the site. FYI, Ben has just started a company—Prema Studios—which specializes in meeting business design needs http://www.premastudios.com. He's one of the most creative and talented individuals I've ever known, and is a Microsoft certified systems administrator, master certified internet webmaster designer, A+ PC technician, network+ technician, security+ professional, and is Adobe certified in PhotoShop. [I had to ask Tamara for the listing, as Ben's not one to hi-light his credentials.] Tamara is a Marketing Manager for Essilor of America, the world's leading provider of eyeglass lenses. She received her Masters in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Texas A&M University a couple of years ago. Together, they are quite a team.I also want to acknowledge several others that have played an important role in rolling out the new site. Burton Gaar, our Director of Corporate Relations and Special Projects, has developed the media center. All of the promotional DVDs and music projects have been created under his direction. Chad Parker, Associate Director of TCM, has provided invaluable assistance with much of the content and has served as liason to the Web site committee. Margo Burton, Editor-in-Chief, has worked tirelessly in recent days with the final editing. Annette Tomlinson, Sponsor Relations Coordinator and Photographer, has furnished us with the needed photos.
Last, but not least, I want to thank Les McElhaney, of Simi Valley, California, for his professional expertise and counsel with the transition from the original Web site. It was Les that created the Mansion's very first presence on the internet several years ago. His contribution of time, effort and personal expense during the past eight years has helped us achieve this significant milestone. What a tremendous blessing he has been to this ministry.
Enjoy the site. Your suggestions and comments are welcome!
